PRS Tekton in Black Tourmaline

PRS Tekton Hardtail Electric Guitar

The PRS Tekton Hardtail is designed for players who value precision, consistency, and a direct connection to their instrument. Built on the modern Tekton platform, it combines refined ergonomics, contemporary specifications, and purpose-built electronics in a focused, responsive guitar designed for the studio, stage, and practice room.

Featuring a 25.5" scale length, stainless steel frets, a 16" fretboard radius, and the Tekton family’s thin-yet-substantial neck carve, the Tekton offers effortless playability across its ebony fingerboard. Its lightweight body, sculpted contours, and enhanced upper-fret access help maintain comfort during long practice sessions, demanding studio work, and extended performances.

At its heart are PRS Stylus pickups, developed specifically for the Tekton family. Voiced for articulation, clarity, and character, they deliver excellent note definition whether played clean or overdriven, through a tube amplifier or a digital modelling platform. Both humbucking and split pickup settings are designed to provide usable, musical tones across a wide range of styles.

The PRS Hardtail bridge features individual saddles for precise intonation and a string-through-body design to support resonance and sustain. Combined with PRS Phase III Locking Tuners with Wing Buttons, the Tekton offers a stable, responsive playing experience for musicians who prioritise tuning stability, consistency, and precision.

Named after the ancient Greek word for artisan or builder, Tekton reflects a philosophy of thoughtful craftsmanship and modern performance. It is built for players who continually refine their technique, expand their sound, and look ahead to what’s next.
