Ibanez RGDR61G-WH in White

Ibanez RGD – Extended-Scale Metal Electric Guitar

The Ibanez RGD is Ibanez's ultimate metal machine, engineered specifically for the demands of down-tuned playing. Standard guitars can struggle to deliver the response and clarity required for lower tunings, so the RGD is designed to preserve the rich, powerful thickness of tone that makes down-tuned guitars so desirable.

Its extended 26.5-inch scale length adds one inch to the standard scale, providing enhanced string tension and a tighter response for lower tunings without sacrificing the fast, comfortable feel needed for speed soloing. Extra-deep cutaways also provide comfortable access to the highest frets.

Jumbo frets contribute to smooth, comfortable playability, particularly for fast runs, bends, and single-note passages.

• Okoume Body

The Okoume body provides a bright, solid tonal character suited to powerful modern guitar sounds.
