Ampeg Venture VB-88 is designed to deliver the visuals and performance of Ampeg’s SVT-810 cab in a more compact form factor. This cab’s combination of eight custom-voiced 8-inch Lavoce neodymium woofers and a variable high-frequency driver deliver all the warm, tubby low-end you’d expect from a classic Ampeg cab of this lofty stature. And while classic SVT-810 cabs often clock in at well above 150 pounds, the Venture VB-88 is rated at less than half the weight.
