This warranty applies to the original purchaser only and is not transferable.

  1. Nature of Pre-Owned Goods

This instrument is sold as a pre-owned product.

Its age, prior use, price, disclosed condition, and visible wear are relevant considerations in assessing acceptable quality under the Australian Consumer Law.

Pre-owned instruments may exhibit cosmetic wear, finish ageing, minor marks, patina, and other characteristics consistent with prior ownership.

Any known faults, repairs, modifications, or material defects identified at the time of sale will be disclosed prior to purchase.

  1. What the 3 Month Quality Second Hand Guarantee Covers

During the warranty period, Billy Hyde Music will remedy faults that:

  • Were not disclosed at the time of sale; and

  • Structural neck instability (excluding normal seasonal timber movement)
  • Truss rod mechanical failure
  • Pickup or electronic component failure
  • Hardware mechanical failure (tuners, selector switches, potentiometers)
  • Bridge or tailpiece failure not caused by misuse

If a covered fault arises, Billy Hyde Music will, at its discretion:

  • Repair the instrument; or
  • Replace defective components; or
  • Provide store credit; or
  • Provide a refund where repair is not commercially reasonable.

Any remedy will be provided in accordance with the Australian Consumer Law.
